The Scarborough College Library is a quiet place where pupils can come to read or study. It has a large collection of Fiction, with new titles arriving regularly to whet the appetite and promote reading for pleasure. Pupils in Years 7 -9 enjoy a Library lesson once a week, when they have time to browse the shelves and enjoy reading in our peaceful environment. Our Non-fiction collection of books is extensive and is complemented by the Philip Allen academic journals for the IB subjects at Sixth Form. The Library catalogue also has website links for curriculum based research and pdf documents. The Library has computer and printing facilities, along with national daily newspapers and a selection of current magazines.
The Library also houses a facility for teaching English as a Second Language and provides additional study facilities for Sixth Form students.
