The Friends of Scarborough College offer a programme of events and activities designed with the objective of bringing together parents, staff and students in fun ways that enhance the feeling of belonging to a whole school community. We also work closely with the Old Scardeburgians’ Association (O.S.A.) – the Alumni association of past pupils and staff of Scarborough College, supporting one another and Scarborough College whenever and however we can. This all results in us being able to support and enhance the whole Scarborough College experience, from 3 to 18 years of age – and beyond.
We will keep you up to date of the wide range of events that you can enjoy in the coming months, as well as letting you know of other services that we now offer such as helping to recover lost property, quality second hand uniform, games equipment and musical instruments.
Fundraising – where does the money go? We are continually enhancing the facilities for our children by providing all sorts of extra items, from books, bird feeders, sports equipment and computers to the new rain shelters on the astro pitch. These fantastic shelters enable both teams and spectators to watch matches in comfort safe from the elements. For our junior pupils we have also recently provided them with a brand new playground climbing frame.
So with your help we can really make a difference. Working together as parents, staff, students and friends of the college we can achieve a great deal to benefit the life of the school and the wider community. Your continued support is much appreciated.
