The broad aim of the Department is that pupils should enjoy learning mathematical
skills and their application so that they achieve their maximum potential.
At any stage pupils should have:-
- developed their mathematical skills (verbal, written and mental)
- improved their application of these skills
- opportunity to practise the skills
- learned something new
- opportunity to discuss their work with peers and staff
- achieved something positive
- enjoyed the subject.
