Sixth Form
The two years spent in the Sixth Form are perhaps the most exciting and critical years of your school life. We have been proud to celebrate the many achievements of the College's sixth formers over recent years, both in and outside the curriculum.
Dedicated facilties March 2000 saw the completion of the College's Centenary Development Project, featuring a 2 million pounds investment in the facilities of the school for the benefit of students. Specifically, for Sixth Formers, these include:

  • a dedicated Sixth Form Study Area with ICT suite
  • a Sixth Form cafe and recreation and work area
  • a Higher Education and Careers Library within the College Library in addition to
  • a common room with recreational facilities on the second floor of the main College building
Extra-curricular activities

Your academic profile will be enhanced through a programme of talks and lectures. Through our large range of extra curricular opportunities, you will gain many elements of key skills which are recognised by university admissions tutors. Games lessons are also a part of the curriculum.

Currently many students will study for certification in Computer Literacy qualifications. Examination results and a list of the destinations of our leavers are available in school. All UCAS applicants in recent years have secured places in Higher Education, and several have chosen to do so after an exciting and rewarding gap year.
