a Higher Education and Careers facility together with a suite

Recent refurbishment has produced a bright and attractive facility
which includes a comfortably furnished reading area as well as
a more formal area designed for written work. The full time librarian
operates an efficient and comprehensive database and security
system which keeps track of all the titles available to pupils.

| Junior study space |
Whilst members of the Sixth Form make extensive use of the borrowing
facility, the availability of a dedicated Sixth Form Study Centre
ensures that younger members of the school are able to make full
use of the library for their private study, homework and coursework
research. |
| Subjects specialisms |
Subject teachers are able to direct their students to make good
use of comprehensive departmental sections of the library, and
the librarian is always available to assist staff and pupils in
their research activities. |
