| The IB Diploma Programme |
The IB Diploma Programme is a holistic, pre-university
6th Form programme combining academic depth and breadth. Founded in the
1960s in Geneva, the International Baccalaureate Organisation offers educational
programmes that are rigorous and challenging, and ‘aims to develop
inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better
and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.’
Highly respected by universities all over the world, IB Diploma students
routinely receive offers and gain places to the best universities in the
world. |

Students study six subjects selected from the subject
groups. Normally three subjects are studied at higher level , and the remaining
three subjects are studied at standard level
All three parts of the core - extended essay, theory of knowledge and
creativity, action, service - are compulsory and are central to the philosophy
of the Diploma Programme.
