The Curriculum
The academic curriculum In the first three years, girls and boys follow a wide-ranging curriculum designed to allow them insights into as broad a variety of subjects as possible.

The foundation stones are of course, English and Mathematics, and a special feature of our programme is the study of two Modern Languages, French and German, from 11. Spanish is added at age 13 as a third language for many students.

High academic standards are a priority, and each student is expected to strive for his or her personal best. Results at public examinations are excellent.
Information technology In all subject disciplines throughout their College career, students are taught to make appropriate use of computers. There is a structured Information Technology programme for the first three years and specialist courses are run, on a voluntary basis, in extra-curricular times. Information Technology is also available as an AS subject in the Sixth Form.
Special Needs The Learning Support Unit supports students who need extra help, particularly with their reading, writing and study skills.
International Students Specialist TESOL tuition is available for international students. Please refer to the TESOL information in the subjects section.
