Scarborough College is a friendly community where boys and girls are exposed to a wealth of opportunities.
Great emphasis is placed on pastoral care and an open and trusting relationship exists between students, staff and parents. To ensure that good communication is established between home and school, the Head of Year works alongside tutors who meet with their students on a daily basis. In an atmosphere of mutual respect, the tutor monitors the welfare of each student as well as reviewing academic progress. With such close individual attention, our dedicated staff can identify strengths and anticipate problems as they ensure that every child is happy and motivated to achieve their full potential.
The school community comprises a healthy balance of boarding and day students with provision for students to board on a full-time, weekly or occasional basis. As well as boys and girls from the surrounding area, we welcome those from all over the world, giving the school a truly cosmopolitan feel.
