Friends of Scarborough College

The Friends of Scarborough College offer a programme of events and activities designed with the objective of bringing together parents, staff and students in fun ways that enhance the feeling of belonging to a whole school community.

We will keep you up to date of the wide range of events that you can enjoy in the coming months, as well as letting you know of other services that we now offer such as helping to recover lost property, quality second hand uniform, games equipment and musical instruments.

During 2009 the Old Scardeburgians Association (OSA) came under the umbrella of The Friends. At least two OSA members will also be on the Friends committee. We are delighted that OSA chair Mrs Zoe Harrison and Mr Phil Wilson are representing the OSA on the Friends committee this year. 

Fundraising – where does the money go? We are continually enhancing the facilities for our children by providing all sorts of extra items, from books, bird feeders, sports equipment and computers to the new rain shelters on the astro pitch. These fantastic shelters enable both teams and spectators to watch matches in comfort safe from the elements.

So with your help we can really make a difference. Working together as parents, staff, students and friends of the college we can achieve a great deal to benefit the life of the school and the wider community. Your continued support is much appreciated.
