U15 v Worksop Sports Results 30 Jan 2012

Boys Hockey

The U13 hockey team have played in two competitions this week. One at Yarm and one in York. They came 3rd in The Yorkshire championships and have played some great Hockey. They have beaten Egglescliffe, Yarm, Minster School, Harrogate Grammar School and Olaves B and only lost to Malsis and St Olaves A team.

In their first outing of the season the U16 team beat Hymers College 9-1.  Joe Porter scoring four goals and the team playing well all over the pitch.

The 1stXI drew with St Peters 5-5 in a very exciting, high quality game Scarborough College took a 4-2 lead into half time but St Peters came back strongly to share the honours in this game.

The 2nd XI lost to St Peters 3-0

The U15a beat St Peters 7-2, a full strength College U15 team is one of the best sides around and were too strong for St Peters.

The rest of the College teams battled hard against strong opposition and never gave up. Lots of the players were making their debut for the College and did themselves proud.

The U15 b lost to St Peters 4-1. The U14a lost to St Peters 5-1. The U14b lost to St Peters 4-0

 

Girls Netball

The girls U15 team have had a great week of netball they beat Whitby 22-8 and then travelled away to beat Hull Collegiate 23-14

The U13 lost To Bramcote 12-4, playing poorly and never really getting into the game, however on Saturday despite losing at Terrington, 20-8. The girls played much better and Miss Ramsay is pleased that they have improved and learnt valuable lessons.

The Owls netball team beat the Wheatcroft Aces 22-17 in the Scarborough Ladies evening league.
