The Infant Nativity – The Birthday Party

junior-nativity-2011-3 The Infant Nativity, entitled The Birthday Party, saw a departure from the more traditional play and had a more contemporary twist.

The bad tempered Inn Keeper, played by six year old Charlie Waggit and Eliza Leach, who played his long suffering wife, were the stars of the show.  We had shepherds and angels with mobile phones and three wise girls who preferred to travel by train rather than camels.  Gifts from the shepherds included a bunch of roses and a bag of nappies!

The children thoroughly enjoyed all the performances and the play showcased an enormous range of talent within the Infant department.

A wonderful performance – congratulations to Mrs Reed, Mrs Ainley and the Infants!
