The Junior School held an Afternoon Tea Party in aid of the local MacMillan Nurses as part of the charity’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’.
The event was organised by Mrs Davey. Parents, staff and children were invited to join the Junior School for afternoon tea, coffee and cakes (many of which were baked by the parents). We also had a raffle for the larger cakes. They raised £380 on the day.
Together with funds raised by the College, we presented a cheque to the MacMillan representative for £796.06.
A fantastic effort by the whole Scarborough College community - all supporting a very worth while charity.
