Scarborough College U13 girl’s battled through to the County final, after winning the preliminary round held at St Peters. The girls played 3 matches in their pool winning two and drawing one. This set up a final with Ashville which was a very close game which Scarborough College won 1-0 thanks to a well taken goal by Grace Sykes, our top scorer. The day was full of committed tackling and flowing hockey, with plenty of chances at both ends of the pitch. Special mention to Keri Arundel our goal keeper who kept us in two of the games with some fantastic saves.
The team will now head to the County finals in January, as one of the best 4 teams in North Yorkshire.
