Sports Round up Weeks 1 and 2

u16-girls-hockey-2011-5 Positive start to the season at Scarborough College.

Scarborough College girls hockey and boys rugby have made a good start to the season. The Girls 1st XI have had impressive victories over Hymers and Whitby ladies, and the U15 have drawn with Hymers, beaten Cundall Manor  and narrowly lost to Queen Margarets. Alice Kirkup is the top scorer so far this season and is in great form. The U13 girls have also started well and with the year 7 girls stepping up to the year above the future of girls hockey looks bright.

The boys 1st XV have won their first two matches of the season and are in good form. Clayton Hill in the pack and Alex Renwick in the three quarters have dominated games. An important game coming up on the 28th September against the Yorkshire Coast College in the first round of the Daily Mail cup.
