Juniors visit Engineering Exhibition at The Spa

On Wednesday October 12^th Scarborough College Junior School attended the Engineering Week Exhibition in The Spa Main Hall.

An exciting ride down in the Spa Tram was followed by a most interesting insight into the opportunities afforded by Engineering in the
Scarborough Area.

Presentations of Hydraulics, Formula One cars, School Technology projects, Robotics, Luxury Coach Design, Rocket Launching, Potash Mining, Offshore Power generation, Laser marking systems, Submersible service craft and many more……..

The exhibition was aimed at 8-16 year old pupils and proved to be of great interest to our pupils with a number of stimulating opportunities for ‘Hands on’ activities.
