The Boarding Pupils, accompanied by Dr Kehrli, Mrs Thomas and Miss Tipton, had an exciting day at Alton Towers on Sunday 11th September 2011.
After a brief spell of rain which, according to one unfortunate student, can be quite painful if you are on ‘Oblivion’ at the time, the day brightened up and we enjoyed ice cream and hot dogs in the sunshine.
Prizes were won, rides were conquered, and a sleepy but happy group returned to College at the end of the day. Miss Tipton was heard to say ‘I can’t wait until next year!’ and she is not the only one to feel that way! This annual event for the boarding community is always extremely popular.
