Year 9 students Alan Lewis and Matthew Bennion have achieved superb results in the prestigious “Cayley” Mathematics challenge with Matthew achieving a Merit and Alan an amazing Distinction.
This places both students within the top five hundred year 9 students in the whole of England and Wales. This comes on the back of their success in the 2011 Maths Team Challenge where, joined by Will Heaps and James Hughes (both year 8), the Scarborough College team achieved sixth place in North Yorkshire.
